New York Times - Lawyers in the C.I.A. leak case said Thursday that they expected I. Lewis Libby Jr., Vice President Dick Cheney's chief of staff, to be indicted on Friday, charged with making false statements to the grand jury.Via Drudge.
Karl Rove, President Bush's senior adviser and deputy chief of staff, will not be charged on Friday, but will remain under investigation, people briefed officially about the case said. As a result, they said, the special counsel in the case, Patrick J. Fitzgerald, was likely to extend the term of the federal grand jury beyond its scheduled expiration on Friday.
The blog is founded on the belief that even in this era of polarized politics the truth actually is somewhere in the middle and those of us that live there have to fight to have the truth heard.

Rove NOT To Be Charged On Friday?
That's what it sounds like, but that doesn't mean that he's safe yet...:

Mugshots of DeLay and Rove within a week would be too much to ask for. Though DeLay's looked more like he brought a professional photographer and light crew with him.(Very savvy.) I was really hoping for a Nick Nolte mugshot.
Of course, DeLay's nap on RJR's private jet on the way to his booking probably made him fresh as a daisy.
